Visual Culture Plakat

This project was developed within an intercultural design course exploring visual culture from one’s own context. I focused on Romanian tabloid headlines and their use of typography as a tool for creating urgency and importance.
The work extends into motion, where the composition builds and is accompanied by paparazzi-like camera sounds. The poster becomes a spectacle that “waits” to be captured, emphasizing attention as its main value rather than content.
Using a limited vocabulary of emotional triggers such as “ȘOC”, “URGENT”, and “EXCLUSIV”, the poster translates this visual system into a fragmented, repetitive typographic composition that appears meaningful but lacks information.
Made in InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
