This layout project represents a metaphorical illustration book that reinterprets Mark Twain’s ‘The Chicago of Europe’ through visual storytelling. Using minimalist, colorful illustrations & varied paper choices, I explored metaphor as a design tool to translate quotes into visual narratives. The book features a consistent typographic system across all spreads, with a cover that incorporates my handwritten text.
