My personal visual research into the evolution of language. The zine reimagines 12 global writing systems (latin, greek, armenian, thai, chinese, japanese, korean, hebrew, arabic, ethiopic, hindi, cyrillic) through three stages of transformation: Particulate, letters built from small dots, symbolizing the atomic origin of language, communication reduced to noise; Script, writing system expressing the human trace, emotional & partly illegible; Grid, a geometric reconstruction using modular grids, language formalized into structure. The three stages trace a cycle from organic to rational construction, revealing how form and culture, coalesce into new visual languages. Each letter is made out of a combination of these 12 alphabets, random and intuitively.
